Overview

The Product Manager will collaborate with business owners and document strategic transportation initiatives.  Comprehensive functional requirements requisite to the fulfillment of transportation strategy will be clearly articulated in business requirement documents and delivered to IT partners.  The Product Manager will monitor and influence solutions development and systems configuration.  He or she will own change management, including the implementation and adoption of new transportation processes and technologies in partnership with operations teams. The Product Manager is central to business transformation. This role will deliver breakthrough enterprise solutions and capabilities.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business owners, comprehend the strategic transportation initiatives of the organization, define the products necessary to support the business, and document the IT functional requirements requisite to product development.
  • Actively engage and partner with internal IT resources to achieve the delivery of product per project timelines.   
  • Implement new products and train operations teams to successfully adopt the new technologies.
  • Routinely assess UI and UX of product.  Reconfigure transportation applications. Engage IT resources as needed.
  • Industry awareness. Keep informed of new technologies to identify/assess opportunities to improve Veyer transportation systems. Attend relevant industry conferences.

 

Education and Experience:

  •  Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Area of Study: Business Administration, Engineering
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 2
  • Type of Experience: Program Management, Product Management, Transportation Operations
  • Technical Competencies & Information Systems: Oracle TMS a plus, eCommerce platform experience a plus
  • Skills & Abilities: Leadership, problem solving, creativity
  • Language Skills: English
  • Personal Attributes & Other/Preferred: Communicative, collaborative, influential, resolute

 

Ideal candidates for this position will be located in one of the following states:

  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • North Carolina
  • South Carolina
  • Texas
  • Illinois 

*Remote: While this position does not currently require relocation, candidates within a radius of Boca Raton Headquarters will be required to work in the office a minimum of three days a week.
