Overview

We’re seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to support our indirect sourcing initiatives within our Supply Chain and Logistics category. This role is integral to driving cost-effective procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring quality and supply continuity across the organization. As part of the sourcing team, you’ll play a key role in executing the strategic vision for sourcing, contracting, and supplier management of goods and services.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute strategic sourcing initiatives, including supply market analysis, strategy development, RFP management, bid analysis, supplier negotiations, and more.
  • Build strong relationships across business units to develop sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Manage supplier selection processes using market analysis, RFPs, eAuctions, and data-driven approaches.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts while ensuring proper document control practices.
  • Oversee supplier relationships to ensure they meet quality, service, and cost requirements.
  • Monitor category market trends and indexes to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

 

  • Education and Experience Requirements:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. (MBA preferred).
    • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with a focus on supply chain logistics, transportation, warehousing, or 3PL functions.
  • Certifications: CPSM (Certified Professional Supply Chain Manager) preferred; PMP or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt desired.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, tables), SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, and contract management tools (Ariba, Oracle Contracts).
  • Skills and Attributes:
    • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Exceptional negotiation, contract drafting, and supplier relationship management skills.
    • Ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams to achieve project deliverables.
    • Detail-oriented with a data-driven approach to market insights and proposals.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
    • Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working independently while driving change management initiatives.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • MBA degree.
    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule: The salary range for this role is $85,000/year to $115,000/year, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
