Overview

The Sr. Product Manager will support the development and management of end-to-end 3PL services. It will be responsible for the customer journey and metrics while contributing to the forward-looking strategy for our 3PL customers. The incumbent will work closely with the senior leadership team and cross-functional partners, including Veyer internal teams and tech partners, to execute a long-range strategic plan. The role will advocate for customer needs, identify opportunities, and prioritize the product roadmap to build systems and technology across Veyer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of launching successful products that enhance functionality and drive business growth.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement product strategies aligned with our company’s vision. This involves understanding market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
  • Translate strategic vision and customer experience to ensure there’s clear communication and coordination among internal and external stakeholders on goals and progress. Drive the tech roadmap end to end for WMS.
  • Work closely with various teams to ensure that the solution aligns with business goals and customer expectations. Lead cross-functional teams in building the future technology strategy for FCs (fulfillment centers) & 3PL network.
  • Understand the technical complexity in depth in working with tech teams to remove frictions and conflicts towards product launch.
  • Consistently originate innovative ideas to maximize opportunities while balancing cost investments. Drive initiatives for new products or enhancements.
  • Research, analyze data, and identify opportunities to understand customer pain points, emerging trends, and competitive offerings. Stay ahead of industry trends and identify new product opportunities.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Area of Study: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; SC Logistics, MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 7
  • Type of Experience:
    • Experience in product management. Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is highly valuable.
    • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and support.
    • Experience in managing relationships with key stakeholders and aligning product strategy with business goals.
    • Experience in developing products that address customer issues and enhance their experience.
    • Driving innovation and new product development initiatives.
  • Skills & Abilities:             
    • Decision-Making: Making informed decisions that align with business goals.
    • Understanding Technology: Knowledge of the technical aspects of product development.
    • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data to inform product decisions.
    • Problem-Solving: Finding creative solutions to complex problems.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule: The salary range for this role is $110,000/year to $165,000/year, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
